[Crescentia is a vast continent with a myriad of races, cultures, and people! There's a few natives one might encounter when visiting The Blushing Lotus that seem more or less at home. From adventurers, to clerics, and even the Empress herself, the Lotus is a location that seems to draw in all types for a little hot and steamy release!~]

Lethe Riven
~A kindly, mute woman who has quite a collection of horrible burn scars. While the Lotus would not be her first pick of an 'inn', she does enjoy the company of others...and the chance to relieve some stress is most welcome. She's likely only going to be able to afford one of the cheaper rooms, or be found soaking in the basement springs.~

Eleni Esellia
~A paranoid young woman with lavender hair. Despite her young appearance, she's over two hundred years old...and the current Empress of Crescentia. Not that she's going to be forthcoming with that information. She's typically forced to relax at the Lotus by her most loyal retainer and best friend, Viviri Ryvelle. She's only going to feel somewhat comfortable in the more luxurious rooms.~

Kyrie Riven
~A devout priestess and chosen one of the Moon Goddess, Silennia. She's also a vampire. And a damn good cook! She's a little shy, but a gentle touch and a warm body will get her all cuddly and lewd with a little work. She'll probably take one of the cheaper rooms.~

Vellsha Himri
~A young mage originally from Bethvoss, the City of Eternal Night. She comes from a long line of dark mages, despite her relatively cheerful personality. Unlike her family though, she became an adventurer and journeyed to Tiriliastar to continue her studies into magic, where she attempts to learn time magic...more or less successfully. Unfortunately, she's cursed to be almost perpetually frail and sickly. She has a bad habit of 'talking to herself' too. She's actually speaking to her sentient scarf, though.~

'Captain' Idell Harley
~One of the most well-known mercenary pirates from Sin Cove. She owes no loyalties but to the highest bidder...and if someone happens to outbid you? Ha. Sorry, no refunds. She has no qualms about having a roll in the hay with a pretty girl, or the occasional male. She'll splurge on the more luxurious rooms because that's more her style...unless you want her to show you her ship!~

Fesìr Sariev
~An archer who hails from Aemir, his marksmanship is said to be second to none. He's typically cool-headed and seemingly carefree, but has an arrogant side. The man has been more or less spoiled all his life. Rumor has it he's related to Queen LinYeh herself, and that he's trained with the all-female assassin's guild; The Silken Fangs. He doesn't have a room preference. Whatever's open, really.~

Lady Kiri
~The owner of The Blushing Lotus. She's a spectral Kitsune with...almost indescribable power, said to rival that of even the oldest dragons. She's bound to the city of Kiri-Tsza, but she makes the most out of it. She's a fairly kind woman, but she loves to tease. Pleasure is her business, after all. Try not to destroy anything in her establishment, or upset any of her regular patrons. You'll regret it.~

[ Honestly? Konoka just wanted a bath.

This entire inn was kind of an adventure to itself, being both so close to home and yet not quite. The baths are just like the inns she knows, the decor is familiar to someone steeped in Japan like she is. But there are differences, the conversations seem different, describing places she's never been but sure don't exist on the old world she calls home. She hadn't been everywhere on the magical world, but the names there aren't familiar either. Getting lost through teleportation is a thing that can happen, as she has learned all too well... twice now.

But she does appreciate just how accommodating this place is. The Blushing Lotus is perhaps a bit more saucy than she'd normally take, but Konoka is an adventurous sort, and if she can navigate the magical world, then surely she could survive in another world entirely.

But having been all over the place today just looking for gainful employment and a place to continue developing her magic, Konoka had found herself somewhat exhausted and in need of a soak. The hot springs are a wonderful place to soothe her bones and deal with the sweat on her skin. With her hair done up, she laid down and relaxed completely naked, unaware that she wasn't alone, and hadn't been since she stepped in the bath. She had just randomly decided to look left when she saw the other woman. Jumping up in surprise, she only stopped herself when she realized that yes, it was another woman and no, she was not a threat, furthest from it, actually! ]

Wow, you surprised me!

[Lethe enjoyed spending much of her time here soaking in the hot water. It made it a bit easier for her to move for a while. That, and it was just so easy to sit back and relax. Something she honestly didn't get to do all that often. Kiri-Tsza had always been one of her favorite cities. It was just so beautiful, and even at night everything seemed to glow with magic. Just like these little hot springs. Fireflies and lanterns fueled by magic lit the area just enough to be able to see where you're going.

Needless to say, the ex-inquisitor enjoyed her soak in silence, although she did hear someone else enter. Lethe took a moment to sink just a bit deeper into the water, up to her shoulders before the other girl managed to spot her.

While she was unable to vocalize her response, she raised her hands nonthreateningly and gave Konoka a sheepish smile. There's clearly no threat here.]

[ Konoka paused once she saw there was no threat. It didn't yet register to her that the other woman in there with her had no voice to speak of, but rather than wait for an answer it seemed the gesture was enough. ]

I'm fine! It's just like I said, you surprised me.

[ She settled back down now, attempting to get a look at her guest. It was then she noticed some of those burn scars and their severity. Concern graced her features, but she wasn't entirely sure if bringing it up was a good idea. ]

[Gestures are really the most Konoka's going to get from her. She can't exactly use pen and paper down here. She gave the younger girl a nod, followed by a slight apologetic bow.

She did notice that Konoka seemed to be staring a bit at her, and she immediately knew why. Her scars were pretty extensive...and the other girl couldn't even see most of them yet. A faint blush crept across her cheeks before she glanced away.]

[ Konoka had to think a little faster than she was. The girl's reaction told her that she had already come across a sore point, and the last thing she needed was to make a bad impression on the first person she had met face to face! Still, the curiosity of it compelled her to wonder if she could do something for the woman. She couldn't heal them as they were probably far too old, but she could at least see if she could do something about the pain.

...some time later. No need to press her right now. ]

It's alright. I'm sorry for staring.

[ Konoka decided herself to just sink in the water and relax for a little bit, and strike up some different subject a little later. ]
